Jamie Foster

Jamie Foster is a fifth‑year BSc Neuroscience student with a minor in Mental Health. She is actively involved in the Lethbridge community through her role as the Coordinator of the Building Brains Together Outdoor Play Program. In this position, Jamie leads a volunteer team in facilitating weekly outdoor play opportunities across the city, working in partnership with the Lethbridge Housing Authority to promote and strengthen executive functioning skills across the lifespan.

During her fourth year of study, Jamie completed a Neurobiology of Language course at the University of Lethbridge, where she discovered a keen interest in neurolinguistics and linguistics research. This experience motivated her to pursue an additional year of academic study to further explore the field of linguistics. She is now working to complete the prerequisite coursework required for admission to a Master’s program in Speech‑Language Pathology.
