Piitaakii, Inge Genee

Oki nitaanikko Piitaakii. Nitsaapinihka’simi Inge Genee. I am originally from the Netherlands but now I live in Sikoohkotoki Lethbridge. I am a professor of linguistics at Iniskim University of Lethbridge. I work to support Niitsi’powahsini revitalization with my colleagues in the A’tsimaani Blackfoot Language Group. I am the director of the Kiistónnoon aiitsí’poyio’pa Blackfoot Online Resource Project (blackfoot.algonquianlanguages.ca) and the editor of the Online Blackfoot Dictionary (dictionary.blackfoot.algonquianlanguage.ca). I am very happy to welcome you all to our conference and hope we will all learn together and make new friends and connections.
