Oki niistowakok Mia’nistsinihkiakii (Sings Many Songs) Nimoh’to’too Kainai. Hello, my name is Caroline Russell, and I am currently a Blackfoot Instructor at the University of Lethbridge. I come from Kainai, which is also called the Blood Tribe. The Blackfoot language is my passion, and I wanted to teach the language and assist in revitalizing it. Language is who we are, containing our worldview, culture, history and complex knowledge systems that have sustained us since immemorial.
